First things first: bowdow duhdow duhdow duhdowd dowdoww, I don't wanna be anything other... As soon as I hear that familiar tune, I swear, I go crazy! My poor daughter asked, Aren't you so excited? To which I replied, Shhhh! Shhh! Shh! She laughed. I said, Shh! again. When Dan opened his eyes it literally scared the crap out of me! I love that in her imagination she believed that the whole town would show up for his funeral! LOL. All I have to say is, Feeling a little guilty, Deb? Nathan watching Haley sleep and their cute morning after banter, and y'all know I love me some Nathan and Haley, but the realist in me screamed at the television TOOTHPASTE! I was ever so happy to see our nipple ring make its debut for season two, but I was disappointed that it didn't even get a flick from Haley! Keith and Lucas on the beach. Is it just me or has Keith officially taken on the Herman Munster look? I normally do not like Keith, but he had a few good lines. The Felicity hair comment was HI-LAR-I-OUS. Ashley (my teen) asked, What did he say? to which I replied, Shhhh! Does it hurt when you think of me? Awe, could this be foreshadowing to a future return of Jake. Oh, Marky Mark, what I wouldn't do for that! Brooke and her Ho's over Bro's Reunion Tour line had me LMAO. She is really shaping up to me one of my favorite characters. She is awesome by herself. Brooke, honey, stay single! You are getting much better script out of the deal! As for 'the letter'. Yeah, I found myself not caring. It was kind of anti-climactic. I was very glad that the writers did not bore us with the whole long thing just to have Lucas return the next day! LOL Now, was it just me or when Deb waited to call 911, she was a nice peachy human color, but by the time they got Dan set up in a room, she had become a light hue of bronze. I did not know they had tanning beds in hospitals, but it really is NOT a bad idea! LOL Well, we're up to the part that just about made me melt! I found a new level of mushiness inside me that I did not realize was there. Haley's flashback to the night before *whew* I need to take a drink here. OK, when Nathan flips Haley over and pulls her up to the top of the bed with him, Oh man! Yowza! Then the dialogue from the preview that we all saw on Monday, OMG OMG OMFG! I'm speechless here. I'm sure there will be much talk of this at FanForum. I will leave the complete insight and wisdom up to Whitney. I'm sure she'll nail it! Another thing I caught at the hospital was the doctor saying that Dan's heart condition is genetic. Does that mean that Nathan or Lucas could have it as part of their genetic DNA? Hmmm. Then they flashed to Dan's apology speech in his truck just before finding Karen and Keith. He admitted that he was not proud of his actions and he would do anything and everything to keep her. MAN! Just when I am dead set on loving to hate the guy again, he goes and does something perfect. I almost shed a tear when he saw Herman Mun, er, I mean, Keith and MILFH, er, I mean Deb. Whitey gave a very poignant speech that I, as a member of the over 30 watchers, took to heart. I think that was the first time I ever really thought about the ever-looming regret of the road not taken. I tried to imagine myself old and what would I be regretful about. Yeah, see, I can take a lesson out of the show too! Karen did leave a door open for future episodes by mentioning that she was considering taking classes at the university. Moira looked fabulous last night (nice hair cut, it works for her) and I can see this going somewhere good. One of the best parts of the entire show for me was Mr. & Mrs. James! My god. I totally recognized the mom. She played in a couple of made for tv movies that I remember and she totally was Haley-esque. I could see it. Huey. Ah, Huey, Huey, Huey. You did very well. I was a little nervous, but you totally sank a whole in one. With the dialogue, I felt like you totally knew Nathan and were not actually in your first scene ever with him. One really good thing came from the comments about him climbing thru the window, I could see that Haley's parents truly trusted her and that explained a lot for me along the lines of why they could accept the marriage. Plus, they very nearly boarderd hippy. The character Marion was funny too. Her comment about it being a darn shame that Haley was virgin nearly had me rolling off of the couch. The look on Nathan's face was priceless. (Hey there's a priceless ad for my FF pal to do) Kudos to Lucas for putting Nathan on the reasons to go home side. I love that their relationship is getting stronger for the better. Keith, Dan's an ass; you're an ass; my job, your mother annihilated my heart; and this apartment has a killer view, was enough for ME to stay with him in Charlotte, and I don't even like the guy! The big thing I was worried about was Deb finding out about the wedding. I am so mad at her, but as a mother, I have to reluctantly admit that I could sort of understand. I don't like how she handled it, but I also don't like that when she tore into Haley, Nathan only said, Mom. How about a, Yo! Child abandoner, you wanna chill on the yelling at my wife? When Haley went to see Karen she seemed genuinely clueless as to why Deb took it so hard. Youngsters, ah, whatta ya gonna do? Lydia James, There she is smoking crack and sleeping in the gutter. Hey! What exactly is wrong with the gutter? I know quite a few of us turned a long summer into fun by living in that gutter! Nathan can do that to a gal. I did love the look on Nathan's face when he saw Haley's wedding ring on the CD cover. No matter what Haley would have said would not have changed his mind. His only thought seemed to be getting that ring back on her finger. He was totally hot in that scene, and I personally think that Natalie Merchant and NAS can peacefully co-exist on the shelf. No problem! Nathan's wedding speech was so believable. I was a little concerned about watching Nathan be romantic. I was wrong. (Yeah, I said it!) He nailed that! Ashley asked me, Are you crying? To which I replied, Shhhhh! Lucas' coming home was actually pretty exciting. I felt a little giddy when Karen saw him and then when Peyton and Brooke saw him. I have high hopes for the hopefully reformed man-whore. The last scene ended how I guessed it would. Keith and Deb hugging was just begging to be the moment that Dan opened his eyes. Hey guys: So, last night's S2 Premiere was just, WOW, Fabulous! I'm a spoiler addict and still I was surprised by a lot of stuff, so kudos to Mr. Schwahn for a fantastically written episode! Opening Credits: All the girls got S2 scenes, Barbara was added and the final shot was the party for NH!!! Awww. Oh and Brooke, lay off the silly string! The funeral home scene in the beginning was creepy, I hate going to those. Dan just lying there and all those people around. There goes the lonely funeral I always pictured him having. What was up with Keith and the Terminator look? Dude, loose the sunglasses! Dan calling Deb a bitch, THANK YOU, you voiced our exact thoughts! Deb's dress' neckline was *gasp* by her neck! (I guess it really was a dream!) NH in bed was HOT, Schwahn, you slay me, so cute! and they were so playful with each other. Oh and yes, the little sidekick (the nipple ring) made a cameo this whole episode!!! Don't we love continuity? NH talk about a weird dream, very clever Mark, putting in the maybe it was all a dream factor, and then the rings shot. I found myself saying, Forget the phone Nathan, dive in! hehehe Lucass & Keith at the beach; Could Keith's new haircut make his head look more square? Which made his Whatever you say Felicity comment doubly funny; a: *snort* Good dig, and dude, look in the mirror, if it isn't the pot calling the kettle black! LOL. Keith's, Dan's an ass, you were an ass, your mother broke my heart, LMAO!!! P&B and the boat, Liquid Assets, lmao! Great name. Now, them skinny dipping? Uh, I know they are hot girls and all, but me thinks certain male writers have been indulging in too many lesbian fantasies here, lol. P&B were awesome together though! Karen looked so young this ep, it was nice. I was tired of the old lady look. She's a very young mother of a HS kid, remember that make up and wardrobe! Deb was gonna let Dan die! ARGHHH, beeyotch, burn in hell! The assiest ass in the planet! Oooh Deb, ya learn that in your one semester in college at English 101? We're married now Haley, I'm never gonna hide that, and also I could love you forever. Why can't forever start right now? Awww, that's it, clone the boy STAT, I want one! Deb going all psycho on Haley, grrr, Beeyotch how dare you! I hope Nathan wants nothing to do with you. If Deb is the new evil character, then she's giving Dan a run for his money! NH going to her parents, now, early spoilers said Marion was the mom's name, so when my closed captioning said Marion and then showed the lady I was like uh, um, why is Haley's mom black? LOL. Good one Schwahn, you had me there for a while. The James' are just kickass, I loved them! But Lydia's friend Marion takes the cake: Lydia, you know Haley's a virgin; and it's a damn shame if you ask me. ROTFLMAO! Her ogling Nathan and him looking so uncomfortable, lol. Priceless. Now, all the dialogue for the James' was pretty much all known to me (spoiler whore here, remember?) so after Lydia gave Jimmy her rant about what Haley could become, I was like WTH happened to the voting republican line?!?! It was changed by sleeping in the gutter. What's wrong with the gutter? I mean I practically live there! LOL. Deb hugging Keith was just, ewww. Poor Danny boy had to see them! DIE DEB, DIE! Now to end on a positive note, Nathan's vows, *THUD* I melted into a puddle of goo! Someday this beach might wash away, the oceans may dry, the sun could dim, but on that day I'll still be loving you. Always and Forever. I promise you Haley. *sobbing* Seriously, can we clone him? I was crying. They are so in love, and sure they are young and the odds are against them, but when you see this, how could you not root for them to succeed?!!! This season promises to be GREAT!!! Previews: A cameo by the twins, they should have their own spot in the opening credits by now. It's like Heather Locklear on Melrose Place; why was she always a guest star? She was always frigging there! Same with the twins, always on prominent display! Deb being hateful, what's new? Though Haley finally getting mad, I was like YES! Send the beeyotch home!
