You Can't Always Get What You Want S2 ep4
Friday, October 15, 2004 Anything to be on top?! LOL. Look who is gracing us with a little something this week. FINALLY...only hours before the new episode! 
Hey Girlies! So, I had been super iffy on ep 204, plus I was hounded with work, so this past weekend I sat down to write a review and everything I came up with was super snarky, LOL. So in the spirit of my promise to Schwahn to give "Felix the Cad" a second chance, I decided to let last week be a bygone. We only got 4 minutes of NH and I was severely distraught. (I guess I got spoiled with all the NH in the previous 3 eps). I did love a few lines like: Brooke: "Boys are clueless, I swear to you I'm 30 years away from giving them up for good" LOL, Same here sistah! Felix: "You're welcome Winona" *snort* ok I had to! Nathan: "How much do you love me?" Awwwwww, he looked so cute and so YOUNG! OMG, I wanted to squeeze him to death. That part was rewound and rewound. *sigh* Dan and his lawn gnomes and all the cardboard cut out moments. I swear, they should sell those online; have your own punching Dan or draw little horns and mustaches. Sharpies anyone? LOL Ok, so I hope I like tonight's ep better. Ya hear me Schwahn? ******************************************* **Reminder... Past Posts/episodes are in the archives** For more fun, visit FanForum Well, how fruititous was this episode's title? I think that I saw more division among my friends on the overall judging of it. I know Denise 1 and I had opposing view points for once. (*Agog* Big shock, I know... the wonder twins didn't share a brain this week!) I am not going to go scene by scene for this review like I normally do. I won't make those of you who did not like the eppy sit thru all my gushing. (Of course, I just started typing this and I could change my mind at any moment!) I, for one, did enjoy the character of Felix. Blue Power Ranger past or not. (Hey, I don't hold CMM's stint on CSI: Vegas against him!) Felix was a little over the top but I could see it. I know that after moving around as much as I did (18 schools in 12 years) that I had to appear obnoxious at times too, but when you know you'll be moving again soon, you have to jump in and get going... no time to let friendships build like everyone who grew up together. LOL. I know the car race scene had a lot of people pointing out the unrealistic nature of it. I say "bring it on!" (Minus the incredibly disturbing shot of CMM's foot pressing on the gas pedal *shudders*) Yes, it was unrealistic, but last time I checked, One Tree Hill was still a tv show and not an alternate universe I physically entered... although I am running right out after this post to Dan Scott Motors so I can have my KIA detailed by Nathan!!! Karen's Cafe expansion... can you say Peach Pit After Dark? Hey, if good music will continue to spew into TH then I am all for it. (But don't think you are firing any of the current staff at the Cafe thread a la FF!) I like the Andy/Karen story... I am looking forward to more of this. Now... here are some points from the episode worth honorable mention... In my opinion this is the good stuff:
I'm sure there are more, but I didn't take notes this episode... so I am going from 3 day old memories. LOL. Previews for next week look hot.
