Oh man, after that promo, this week's episode title is VERY fitting! That was a sucker punch! LOL Ok class, let's begin. Nathan & Haley, in bed, having breakfast, being cute, kissing, argh! I love you writers James & Chad!!! H: "Once we get you in that tux maybe I'll decide we should stay in" I say you're already in bed, whatcha waiting for?! P/B shopping, it's like old times, only its Peyton's credit card that is getting the work out. Peyton's little slap on Brooke's butt might spark more gay rumors. C'mon people, even guys do it in baseball. No one is trying to cop a feel here. Get your minds outta the gutter! (Did I just say that? I LIVE there! LOL). B: "I might have to start giving him the benefit of the doubt instead of just the benefit" LMAO, good one. Chia & PR: booooriiiiiing! But one good thing came out of it. Lucas clearly stated that he may not have a sister, but he has Hales, and he can be very protective. Sooooo, there's that. At least Chia won't go for her ever. It's nice to see a guy and a girl being friends and ONLY friends. A refreshing change from all the DC-esque variations most other shows have. F: "But you screw up with her, I'm cutting in. And it’s you and me who are gonna dance" ok, I can now see BPR doing the moonwalk like he did at TRL and Chia doing the robot like at the Boy Toy auction. Uuuua Uua! Dan and those push ups, hot! Although his talk of lies having a way of catching up with them. Psychic Dan! So what will HE do when his catch up to him? Wait was Lucas reading at the cafe? I thought he had forgotten he could read. And I guess that the week of punishment is over because he's got his cell phone back. Now Lucas knows Dan's secret. I wonder if he'll tell Nathan. Peyton and the coke. Just what is she thinking? Cafe scenes: Peyton asking Haley to sing and then Chris "The Turd" butts in. I understand it's a plot devise, but why did she let herself get trapped into practicing THAT night? The TRIC gig isn't until "next weekend" like Peyton said. What difference would it have made if they had practiced the next day? He totally goaded her into it, not wanting to play with someone who's not totally committed. Piss off loser! Grrrr. His little smile when she agreed should've tipped her off to his creepiness. Scott Bros Part Deux: Nathan telling his bro of his romantic plans for Haley, so cute. For a guy who used to be totally oblivious to his previous relationships, he's sure changed. But what he said was true, now he's hanging out with them losers! LMAO Mouth/Felix: M: "Petal plucking is more your style" Oooh, good one! As buddy-buddy as these two act, they are into the same girl, and friction is starting to get acknowledged. P/B/A: Peyton pining for Jake, man, I miss him! Very fun bit of the scene: A: "What do you think Lucas prefers, straight or curly" and then P & B flanking her at the sides, LMAO!!! NH: ok, while I love Nathan, and I get that his are only the best of intentions, didn't he get mad at Haley for looking through his laptop for his porn stash? Now he's looking through it looking for her songs. Buddy, practice what you preach, otherwise you'll find stuff you didn't really wanna find. Like that song!!! But I loved how he showed her he didn't like it when she told him she'd be playing with the Turd at TRIC. For her it seems to be only because he's got "connections" in the music industry. Whatever, Punk! P/A talking about Jake. So he hasn't responded to her emails. That whole "He has his reasons" bit made me go back to last season finale, DID Brooke send Nicki to Seattle after all? Dun dun dun! Mouth telling Lucas that he was waiting to go in because Felix told him to so they wouldn't look like a couple: these two twin siblings are very homophobic aren't they? Hmm, smells fishy. The dance set looked fantastic! I loved that Brooke had the first dance of the night with 007, Mouth. She spills her guts to him as if he were another girl friend. How much more can this guy take? It's hard to have any positive thoughts on BRP when all he is being is an ass. His conversation with Peyton was annoying. That she'll be alone, ha! That's you in a few mister! ALONE! Haley recording with the Turd: C: "It was ok". So, what, he was waiting for perfection on their first practice. She said she had to go. And her convo with Nathan, that slayed me. He had a horse drawn carriage for goodness sake!!! Granted she didn't know that, but as a viewed it makes you side with him, not her. And creepy was eavesdropping! Hmmm, reminds me of a certain Psychotic Mother. He knew she said she's meet Nathan by 8:30 PM. N/T: ok I was glad to see these two, Tim is just hilarious. T: "Where's the whip and chain?" LOL, only Gutter Timmy would say it that way. "Operation raids the beach" "Phoenix and Psycho, on your 20" LMAO, Tim and his wacky sayings, don't ever stop hon. Nathan was very sly at distracting his mother. (to be continued...) Part Deux So I had completely forgotten to finish this, my bad guys. :-( Real life and the Thanksgiving Holidays (and me cooking) took over. Thankfully, the meal turned out great, but man, too much work! LOL Let's see what I remember. Tim steals the keys, I LMAO at him knowing Peyton's purse was a knockoff, and he just looked so cute in his formalwear. Deb had the twins out for the night again, someone needs to tell the woman ponchos are IN again, hmmm, Brooke wears them a lot, maybe she should sell her one or two (or 365, one for every day of the year). Poser Boy turning off the clock, MAN! I wanted to reach into the screen "The Ring" style and ring HIS scrawny little neck! At least Haley said ILY to Nathan. They all looked great at the formal. Nathan was so glad to see Haley, and that kiss and wiping the lipstick off his lips bit was too cute! The last happy moment of the episode. He looked SO hurt by her deception. I really can't fault him. If he's got nothing to worry about then why didn't she tell him before hand? Drama, drama, I know, Schwahn, you kill me sometimes, LOL. So as viewers we know Haley looked foolish in her arguments and we all wanted to offer Nathan a shoulder to cry on. (or more... bad D1, Bad! Ouuta the gutter to finish this review!) Hilarie did a fantastic job, I was very moved by her storyline. Chia and Brooke making amends was nice, and way past due. Anna and Felix and their homophobia, I wonder with those two. Poor Mouth got bitched at, can't win for trying. And again I was wondering, where the heck is Whitey? Did he survive the surgery? NH, well, I was actually so glad she saw that letter and cried. It said he still could get in.... me smells season 2 finale drama here. Nathan didn't pick up her call, he is too hurt. Lies, deceit, it can never end good. And let's not get into that promo. The WB Promo Department guys need to get their jollies elsewhere, cause scaring fans into an early heart attack is not good. I'm hoping tonight's ep fixes things and our favorite couple go back to their loving self. Otherwise, I'm billing Schwahn for my Prozac medication, LOL. Later guys!!! I have been totally slacking at my updates. Like all good blog-ettes do! LOL. Actually, I have been so busy with Ashley's Godspell production and stuff that I had to make some cutbacks... unfortunately, as a mom, my own pleasures had to take a back seat. But I'm updating today with some small stuff and HOPING that Denise1 will get something as well. RE: episode 8. I loved it. It was another episode for Brooke to shine in my eyes. I found myself liking Tyler Hilton more. He's so snarky and dry. I would like to see him crack a smile just once though... that would probably knock me off of my couch! I have to say that I am the biggest fan of brother time. Nathan and Lucas singing was funny as hell! Before I go any further... I must say: "Go Karen, Go Karen..." I really like Andy and Karen. It's nice to see her friggin' loosen up! I still am not liking Jules/Keith. Maybe if he grows his facial hair back then he won't creep me out so much! Pimpin' time: Gotta pimp Lena's request for a Texas Trio cameo on One Tree Hill. She is working hard to get those boys on our show!!! I think if she succeeds, their PR people or whoever should pay her! Although I am sure the sheer pleasure of their appearance will suffice! (By the way... how's that turkey day invite coming for your lil' pumpkin?) Sidebars: American Dreams just keeps getting better and better! Why is it, though, that all of my favorite shows seem to lack a little in the ratings? I don't get it! Meanwhile, the shows I hate (Desperate Housewives) continue to increase in ratings??? The exception being LOST. I love that show and its ratings are so so good. Word is that they are bringing Alias back this January as a Wednesday show back to back with Lost. Looks like with all of that and The West Wing, I will be completely incommunicado on Wednesdays!!! Gilmore Girls is getting good again!!! First Luke/Lorelai made me happy, and now this new "Logan" guy they have added is making me VERY VERY happy. I finally am like Rory's storyline.
