I took forever but here I am

Hey guys, It's been a long two months and to tell you the truth I've only seen Episode 210 once. I couldn't bring myself to watch it again. The lack of spoilers didn't help matters, although when they finally came I don't know if they just made things worse. But I'm choosing to think that at least I'm prepared for the road ahead. So to write this review before the new episode airs I resorted to reading the transcript for 210. So here we go. Episode 210 - Don't Take Me For Granted I really hope that the voiceovers at the beginning keep on happening. I like the quotes and it gives Chia something smart to say. Brooke's smashed windshield: How convenient that Felix was just then getting out of his house. And if he wasn't guilty, why didn't he say so and offer her a ride to school? L/N/H: Lucas lied to Haley about Nathan's whereabouts. Way to choose sides Chia! And don't Lucas and Karen have a couch? I'm sure that would've been more comfortable than sleeping on the floor. N: "Only in Tree Hill" LMAO!!! My sentiments exactly buddy! F/A: The Weiderman Twins again. A: "I stayed at Peyton's." F: "Ah, that's great. Mom and dad will love that!" Ok, more proof to everyone's theory that Anna bats for the other team. It seems this is the real reason why they move so often. But what's wrong with that? Are their parents so hung up on appearances that they hide their shameful daughter? Please! It's the 21st Century now, wake up and smell the sexual liberation. Keith/Dan: Keith Scott, Vice President. Uh, what parallel universe has Keith stepped into? I hope he can smell Dan's funky I've-got-something-up-my-sleeve smell. B/L: Friends again. I like it. But can they please just STAY friends? L: "because you're better than that." Does this mean that then HE in turn isn't better than that? He slept with a random stranger in a carousel. At least she was banging the rich new next door neighbor, she knew where he lived. F/M: It was about time that Mouth told off Felix. I did like Felix's comment though: "It's a rule of life Mouth; whatever crap you pull...always catches up to you." That should go for EVERYONE in Tree Hill. N/H: "It's not about the camp, Haley. It's about trust." You know, I was SO pissed at him telling her to stop seeing Chris. I was like, how dare he. But now in hindsight, I can see where he is coming from. It IS about trust and I'm hoping his faith in her is justified, because so far he has been taking the first step for everything. B/P: Ok, so apparently there is no security personnel in THH because the students can spray graffiti without getting caught. I missed the part where anyone in THH can consider Peyton a Dyke. Was it her cheerleader outfit that gave it away? Or the many mini skirts she constantly wears to school. Or the fact that a few months ago she was dating and sleeping with THH most eligible then bachelor. Clearly those are warning bells that a girl is a lesbian. She must go work for the CIA because her undercover work is flawless. B/F: She hands him an estimate? What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? B/P: So P is the school's new circus clown, everyone staring at her. P: "Yeah, well I haven't been the old P. Sawyer in a while have I?" Very true. I miss the old Peyton, who do we call to get her back? B: "Yeah...but...I have a quiz next period and if I miss it" This coming from the least studious girl in THH. Since when does she care about school? Oh that's right, since she might actually have to study to get ahead in the world. She picked a fine time to start, when her best friend needed her the most. N/C: Ok, I seriously got hot flashes. I just LOVED the glimpse of old Nathan that we got and how scared Poser Boy looked of him. N: "You could smile and act cool if you want to but the fact is, man: I used to destroy guys like you. Daily. (Chris is petrified.) It'd be a shame if something happened to this hand; you couldn't play that little guitar anymore huh? (Chris tries to get away but Nathan pushes him back.) Just like it'd be a shame if you were taking advantage of Haley. Don't cry rock star (Pause) ruin your make-up." THUD. He was so HOT when he said that. I find his anger sexy and well executed. Kudos to James for a fabulous scene. P/L: So he asked her about missing Jake. I liked her response: "When is the last time we even had a conversation about something real?" Those two have not been close since the Nicki at the party incident. What would make him think things were hunky-dory with them? L: "Whatever you think...I really do care about you, Peyton." Ok, This is what makes me believe it is her he still loves. There has been no indication before that its Brooke. Consistency please writers. Keith/Jules: I think that she seriously fell for him. She is trying so hard to break him away from Dan's evil presence. H/L/K: So she told him off for lying to her about Nathan sleeping there. *Gasp* was that Haley having a backbone? And then Karen: "Lucas Eugene Scott!!" ROTFLMAO!!! Ok, what kind of painkillers was Karen on during childbirth? I hope Eugene is her dad or grandfather's name, because it's the only acceptable way (and then not so much) of giving a poor newborn baby such a name. And about the HCM test, glad to see Haley was worried about Nathan. But the best here was Karen: "Oh, grow up! THAT TRAGIC HERO CRAP ONLY WORKS IN THE MOVIES (Goes through his drawer.) AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DON'T SHOW YOU AFTER THEY FADE OUT? The hero's mother putting her foot up his ass!" LMAO!!! She went Red Foreman on him, finally! Kudos to Moira, I loved it. L/RC guys: I was lmao when Junk said Karen was scary, LOL. Good to see there are some kids who DO listen to the adults. N/H: Our usual warm embrace. At least its something. Beggars can't be choosers. H: "I just-I don't want anything to come between us." I hope she stands by her own words. I'm starting to see her as two people. Regular Haley and Pod Haley. Regular Haley I love, but Pod Haley can go to Hades and stay there. Remember your wedding vows honey. L/Dan: Ok, so first let's go with my comment on the scene. So it wasn't Dan who told Karen. At this point in the episode I was like, Nathan couldn't; could he? D: "Your mother can't bear to lose you, Lucas. Neither can I." Awww, Daddy Dearest, don't make me break out the Kleenex! OK now, What cracked me up just now was the scene's description in the transcript: (Lucas squints some more.) ROTFLMAO!!! P/A: So there were rumors Anna was gay. Ok, and notice how smoothly she threw in her question of if Peyton was gay. I'm glad that Peyton is taking a stand for something. She is a strong personality and I like it when that comes out. The montage: H not going in to see C, good move. B letting the air out of F tires, bad move. P spray painting her statement t-shirt, good move. Keith staying in TH to work for Dan & stay with Jules, bad move. B/L/A: Was this supposed to make us think they still have residual feelings for each other? It was just so blah! And Anna sure is a talkative girl huh? **rolls eyes** L/M: So Mouth admitted to breaking Brooke's windshield. At least the boy is honest enough to want to pay for it. P/Mr. Turner: Ok, so why wouldn't you immediately remove offensive writings from a student's locker? Mr. T was a jerk here. I can understand his wanting to enforce the rules, but then enforce ALL of them, not just the ones that are convenient to you. I'm sure her dad would have a few choice words for him considering he did nothing to protect a student. P: "Can you hear my song now, Mr Turner?" Go Peyton! And I'm sure all the boys loved her red bra display. L/M and B/F: So Mouth got wasted on one drink and rode his bicycle to Brooke's, lol. And Felix had a gf named Kayla. He was hurt before too. Wow, now they can bond! (Smell the sarcasm here people). N/L: ok, can Karen spank her son still? L: "that SUCKS THAT YOU TOLD HER! (Nathan looks away.) AFTER I COVERED FOR YOU WITH HALEY!" N: "About where I crashed for a night, not about my life!" And Nathan is the youngest here? Whiny Chia is annoying, please stop, give him a banana or something. B/P: It was so heartbreaking watching Peyton cry and I was glad to see Brooke was there for her, that is until Felix came out and ruined the moment. At least this Peyton said made the scene for me: "I miss Jake and...Jenny...and my mom." Kudos to Hil, great job in that scene. H/C: Man, it was even hard reading that. I'm glad I chose not to watch it again. She had to say good bye, she's polite, it's in her nature. What is NOT in her nature (at least from what we've seen before) is to be allowing a random guy to kiss her. I know she was startled, but c'mon, I would've pushed him away the split second I saw his grimy head lower towards mine. EWW! And she told him he was wrong, so STICK TO THAT "REAL HALEY". Let's kick Pod Haley to the curb! P/A: Anna is such a fair weather friend. I'm glad Peyton kicked her out. But then calling Creepy Rick? C'mon, you'd think she'd have learned her lesson when Duke Guy tried drugging her and assaulting her. N/L: I was so aww at seeing Nathan preparing a romantic dinner for Haley. It was his apology to her. And I was glad he set his brother straight. N: "till you tell this girl how you feel...(Shrugs) Your heart's gonna be flawed. You need to talk to her Luke." Ok, now who is it!!! I guess we'll find out in 7 more days. Ugh! Deb/Karen: I couldn't believe that Deb spilled the beans about her sleeping with Keith. I smell something funny here. Keith/Jules/Dan: I KNEW IT!!!! I just KNEW that Jules was a Dan plant. And poor Keith said he loved her. Man, Dan is Eeevil. I love it!!! LOL L/A: So he comes clean and admits to her he has feelings for someone else. FINALLY! Rick/P/J: Ok, Peyton was buying drugs from Creepy Rick, and then.. dun dun dun...JAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! **THUD** I remember screaming my lungs out when I saw this part. I wanted to pet the screen, LOL. He didn't look pleased though. I can't wait to see what's gonna happen here. Bryan, may your next 8 episodes be fanfreakingtastic!!! N/H/C: Nathan sitting there, waiting for her to come home, man, that just broke my heart into a trillion pieces when I saw her show up at the bus station. I'm hoping with fervor that there is a reason for that. Poser Boy looked so smug, I wanted Nathan to come wipe it off with one big punch in the nose! Pod Haley, please let Real Hales come back and let her return to her HUSBAND, you know, the one she exchanged VOWS with? Thanks. B/F/L: So Brooke gives Felix a chance and they kiss. In true cliffhanger fashion Lucas is just outside the door. Now, during these past 2 months I've always thought this whole episode is made to make you think things are one way but in reality they are another. It's one big misdirection. I hope I'm still right. I think Chia goes to Brooke's but not cause it's her he loves, but to ask about Peyton. And I hope Haley went to see Chris to set him straight. Well, anyways, the weather here in Egypt is lovely.
