D3 finally shows up!
Friday, February 25, 2005 So, work has been crazy, as usual coming from my mouth! But I did goof off a bit this week! What the hell... I needed my BUDDIES! I won't get into OTH too much... Denise1 covered us there. I couldn't say it better... Her "corner" has officially become a "city block" LOL. Sark is back on ALIAS which, of course, led me straight to the board at fanforum. Thank gawd, for my like minded David Anders friends there... it will be a tough week... "you put the lime in the coconut!" :THUD: Lost... well, its going...but I want more present day stuff and less back flashes now... although I am dying to know the fat kids story! West Wing was all about Toby and Josh fighting... I need Donna to get her skinny white ass in gear! Rory and Logan are driving me straight bonkers. HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THEM?!?!?! There were a couple of crappy eps this year on Gilmore Girls... but they have redeemed theirselves. OK...enough about basic catch up... what is really up????  SO... for some reason, I decided to put my Tyler Hilton CD into my computer at work and finally watch the video for "When It Comes" and listen to the bonus track. How did I not see all that sooner? I swear he totally found my "special place" of the heart reserved for nerdy hot guys. LOL. Please Susan, Erin, Pat, Charli, and Sophia...forgive me... but I can't.help.myself.As you know...most of you... Denise1 will be in Kansas in March... we're going to the OTH Concert on the 14th ... I hope we get some extra cast members from the show. I'm in heaven as it is. OK, I just realized that I did a whole post and no comedy! WTF? I feel better that I am caught up... but sorry I couldn't really entertain today. LOL BTS... it was an honor to have you hear. LOL. I hope you clicked on the links and saw some back posts... we can be very entertaining. I promise. LMAO! ***NEW SHIPPER THREAD... @5:57 PM -- ravens23 [0 Followed the Rambling] Ep. 215 - Unopened Letters To The World Tuesday, February 22, 2005  Hey guys, long time no post. I felt there was a really great eppy in 213 "The Hero Dies In This One", very emotional and heartbreaking, but after that ep I did not feel inspired to comment. Pod Haley is just too much of a downer at times. But ok, tonight's ep restored my post show happiness, so I figured a review was merited. James did a kickass job!!! I was amazed as usual at his performance. This guy has gotten SO good and it's amazing. He does Bad Boy Nathan so well, and he had THE best lines all throughout the episode, and I'll be quoting most of them here, lol. N: "Trust is a lie. Nobody ever knows anyone." Wow, his pain is so palpable. I was glad to see that even Whitey tried to reach out to him, but he rejected it. JP: His "you smell insanely good today" was hot, but still, it just feels rushed, it's too soon. Is this all because BG was only signed for 8 eps? BF: They bore me, they really do, but as the audience who knows what's up with Anna, I was cracking up at Felix's comment on the topless beaches: "Imagine the buzz kill when I found out my sister is there." LMAO!!! And Anna Tagarro, that was the first we heard of their last name. It's kind of unusual. Keith/Jules: He bought her a house. Man, he's gonna break next week! Nathan/Dan: I just love any scenes between these two. D: "Nate, how you been?" N: "Drunk, bitter...Kind of like Mom" LMAO. The writers really do love James. Then I was half proud half WTH is he thinking about quiting just to spite Dan, he's got rent to pay, and now without Haley's income! **shakes head** Lucas talking about his "Best Friend" Haley, "Until this year it's always been Us against the world." Wow, so he remembered how it used to be. He said he understood her need to leave but that all he needed was to tell her he loved her and that he would miss her, just to say goodbye. I could understand him there, but I think this came too little too late. Nathan: "Haley Hates Pink" LOL Lucas: "A Clown?" Nathan: "Yeah, they creep her out." ROTFLMAO!!! Ok, Haley and I are alike in those two things. Maybe she saw "Poltergeist" or "It" like me, LOL. Nathan: "Voicemail. I hope you don't still got that crap." Aww, and here I feel for him again. Dan/Karen/Lucas @ mediation: I was SO loving Dan's "loving, two parent home" speech, and then he said: "I understand sometimes things aren't always as they appear." SHOUTOUT # 1 from Schwahn. (There are many more throught the eppy) And then Karen: "There is not a court in this country DAN, that's gonna fall for your ass of a suit and your crooked-ass smile and your assy frat-boy haircut!" LMAO!!! Moira was priceless here! But yeah, way to keep it cool in front of the mediator Karen. **shakes head** Brooke's Party: Felix and his stoner friends, yeah, I knew there was something off with that kid. Was this reaveal the beginning of the end for Brooke and Felix? They are so boring that maybe their breakup would be mildly interesting. Nathan: "Whatever, I just ran out of alcohol." *snorts* ok, perfect delivery. Ahhh James, how I love thee. Tim's video was hilarious, and Classic Tim. I missed him and his dumb ways, lol. Nathan/Lucas in the car scenes: Ok, Nathan had awesome lines. He's hurting and his defense mechanism is Bad Boy Nathan. "Nice wheels outside. Gift from Daddy?" "Move or I'll run you over." "God I love my life. Think we can out run them?" "Alright Luke, seeing as how I've already been arrested once this year, it's been nice knowing you." He pulled the sympathy card! I couldn't believe that Lucas switched seats with him. Plus, that Kasabian song "Club Foot" in the background. Just AWESOME! Schwahn has excellent taste in music. I love British bands. Jake & Peyton's date: It was cute, I can't deny that, but still, why does it feel so rushed? I love these two characters, and I was so excited to see BG back on the show. But I can't invest myself in them unless BG becomes a series regular. Nathan/Lucas jail scene #1: N: "Hey, call for a pizza. I'm starving." L: "Oh you're hilarious. Someone's gotta bail us out." N: "No problem. Call my wife. Oh wait a minute, scratch that." Man, James was perfect. His facial expressions conveyed so much. HIs anger, his bitterness. He does Bad Boy Nathan SO well. Mouth/Ana: The ski mask bit was so funny, lol. Karen/Andy: Here was Shoutout # 2 from Schwahn: Andy: "There's more to this than meets the eye." I love Schwahn and his veiled shoutouts to us. And I loved Karen for telling Lucas to call the father he loves so much. Yes, it's not a very motherly thing to do, but she doesn't know the truth. All she knows is that Lucas left her for Dan. "Marvin McFadden" a/k/a Mouth. Finally, his full name. Marvin. LOL. (I immediately thought of Marvin the Martian) Jake/Peyton post date: Ok, so here's what bugged me; he's gonna move back in? Hello? Doesn't he think Child Services will frown upon this? Needless to say so will her father, once he comes back into town that is. What will he think of Peyton's sudden "Ready-made-family"? Brooke and "Marsh": Ok, so this was all to show how nice Brooke is now. At least there was no Felix stuck to her side, and I did find this line of Brooke's hilarious: "I don't think so buddy. It's rosy palm for you tonight, ok?" LMAO!!! Thank you Schwahn, too funny. Nathan/Lucas jail scene # 2: L: "And is it any wonder she left a stroke like you? Look at yourself. You're pathetic." Woah there Luke, easy on the endearing words! I could see it as him trying the tought love routine. trying to knock some sense into Nathan, but then Nathan started taking shots at him and BAM! Hot Brothers Fight! What Lucas said about Haley liking Chris better than Nathan was way below the belt. I was so glad Nathan got him with a nice right cross punch! Brooke's confession was sweet. But perhaps it was too "saccharin sweet". I mean, when did she become St. Brooke? I like her still, but c'mon, more spunk and less sudden sainthood. Nathan/Lucas jail scene # 3: I was surprised Lucas told him the truth. Granted, he omitted his having HCM bit, but he told him the rest. Nathan's reactions were as expected from BBN: (bad boy Nathan) "Of course it is (the truth). Nobody's faithful anymore. Nobody can be trusted." "That's outstanding. What else you got?" "Yeah, till she sings a duet. Goes on tour." It all leads back to Haley and her leaving him. This is really eating away at him and he's in pain. L: "She got a dream Nate." N: "No, she left to be with Chris. She kissed him before she left." L: "I'm sorry." N: "That's what she said when I called her. I lied. She said she was sorry. Said she loved me and it wasn't about Chris. She just needs some time to figure everything out. Do you believe that? Cause If I love her and if she loves me, what's there to figure out." I got teary eyed here. So he must have called her twice, since the first time he got her voicemail. He is really trying. My heart ached for him. I was torn here. I loved that we heard him say that she told him that she loved him. I needed to hear that, but I couldn't help being a bit miffed that we didn't get to see this call. Althought if it was gonna leave us with a bad taste like the one between Lucas and Haley, then I guess I'm glad we didn't see it. Still, what DOES she have to figure out? This is what kills me. We don't know her side, how she is feeling. She loves him, what's there to think about? They need to resolve things TOGETHER, they are in a marriage for goodness sake! It just hurts to see him this way. Another excellent performance from James. Dan/Jules talk @ the church: I do not buy his sudden magnanimous "gift" to Keith & Jules of not saying anything. He's gonna let this one go? Please! he probably thought that since she was gonna tell Keith the truth that this would change her mind. After all, I'm sure he's got a helluva show planned for the wedding day. He is so deliciously evil and funny. Jules: "You couldn't turn your cellphone off in a church?" Dan: "It might be God." LMAO!!! I love him, kudos to Paul. More Brooke funnies: "Last week they sold one of the O's in my name so now I'm officially BROKE Davis" LMAO!!!!! Dan/Nathan/Lucas scene outside the police station: I love scenes with these 3. they are so electric, so emotional, and sometimes, oh so funny... D (to Nathan): "You should have your mail forwarded here. Did they give you the same cell as before?" N: "I don't know, they redecorated." ROTFLMAO!!! Nathan reminds me SO much of myself, a smart ass with a big mouth that gets him in trouble. N: "Don't cut any deals for me like you did for Lucas. Oh, and tell mom Keith says Hi." Ohhh BURN!!! Can I just say I loved Nathan in all his bad ass glory tonight? LOL. Dan letting Luke go after Nathan was unexpected at first, but then again, why not? He's clearly using Pippi to reel Nathan back in. L: "Thank you, Dad." WOW, my jaw hit the floor at that one. This next part of Peyton's video was actually one I really loved, Hil did a great job, this to me was Shoutout # 3 from Schwahn: "It's pretty amazing how temptation can be silenced by a ray of hope." *sigh* Mark Schwahn, I love your writing. Our temptation to abandon ship, to leave because of all these crappy moments for Nathan & Haley, and then this great episode that has given me hope. Yeah, it IS pretty amazing. Nathan/Lucas at the apartment: I love the scenes between the brothers. They've come so far. L: "She still loves you, you know. Look, it sucks that she kissed Chris, but Haley married you. I kinda think that wins out over some confused kiss." N: "Maybe I was the confusing part for her." This is what killed me again. He is doubting himself here, he thinks it was something in him that caused her to leave. His parents pretty much left him to his own and now Haley too. He's gotta be wondering if it isn't something in him that causes people to leave him, and this breaks my heart for him. L: "Nathan, Haley fell for you when you were a different guy; a lesser guy. Maybe you should remember the real Haley, even when she is lesser too." I loved Pippi for this. (ok, this will most likely be temporary, lol) Nathan needed to hear that, and so did we. That was Shoutout # 4 from Schwahn. Haley is not perfect, nobody is. We should remember the REAL Haley, the one we all love, especially now that she is lesser and is in POD Haley mode. Nathan/Lucas @ River Court: I loved that Lucas brought back that comment from Season 1. L: "Deal with the pain, somewhere along the way it gets easier." Awww, it was Wise!Pippi week!!! Some of the best advice Nathan could receive. The same is true for us NH fans that are hurting. I think this was Shoutout # 5 from Schwahn, to us Romantics. Seeing the destruction of NH is SO painful, but we gotta look forward to better times. I believe they are coming. Things will get better, and it will get easier. We just gotta have patience. I do now Mr. Schwahn. I did not mind Anna so much this week. I felt she had a purpose and I loved her 2nd speech. Jake's video about falling in love seems so sudden. Is this what he should be focusing on when he could potentially loose his daughter? I like JP together, but the timing kinda sucks. Lucas and his video was really great. Talking about his brother havng a difficult time lately, wishing he could help him and admitting that even getting along is new to them. I loved what he said: "I guess that's how brothers are; better to each other and worse to each other than anybody else." Very sweet. And his acknowledgement that he needs to get closer to his father, to find out how to beat him and set those he loves free. Wow, SO good. I knew he'd be playing Dan, but this is playing with fire. Can Pippi be this loveable every ep? L: "I just hope I have the strength to tear him down for good." I hope you do too Lucas, for everyone's sake. Very foreboding. Whitey: How much did I love having the wonderful Barry Corbin back in the spotlight? A LOT!!! Young Brian: "I suppose a fellow just wants to fit in. Find a good girl. Maybe one day do great things. Her name is Camilla and my wish is that one day she'll agree to be my wife, and we'll grow old together. I'd like to have a boy of my own one day. Maybe lots of kids. I'd like to try to teach them right from wrong, good from bad. I'd like to let them teach me. I think I have something to offer them. Or I hope so. I guess only time will tell." Oh I cried for Whitey, for all the things he wanted, for all that he couldn't have, for all that he lost. But he did acomplish teaching a lot of kids and making a difference for them. Beautifully written Mr. Schwahn. And then the dedication of this great episode to the memory of his late father. It was so heartbreaking. It was 3 for 3 now. I've cried in the last 3 episodes. I just love this show so much. It feels like its getting back to the way I loved it, about two boys and their father, about love, about friendship, about life. I am really sad that we only have one more ep before another hiatus. Six weeks now, how am I gonna cope? Oh yeah, I'm going to Kansas City to visit my friends Mari and Denise 3 and we're going to the One Tree Hill Tour. Yes!!!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be SO much fun. Promo for 216: Nathan: "Don't do it Keith. It's all a lie!" ARGH!!!!! Drunk Nathan! He ended tonight on a better note, but I can totally see his frustration still getting the best of him. And then Karen calling Jules "Emily" YOWSA!
