NH - I never thought we'd get an insta-reunion with these two, so to me their storyline is going perfectly. We get the right amount of remorse from Haley, she knows she made a mistake and is truly sorry and wants to make amends, then there's Nathan and his anger is justified. After anger will come acceptance and then forgiveness. This will not be an easy road back to the super couple they were, rebuilding trust takes time but I believe no matter what they'll get there. He said he would always love her, always and forever, and he means it. It's just hard to let go of his anger right now, it's all he's had to hold on to for all those weeks Haley was away. He made mistakes in the past and she forgave him; granted this is different as they were already married but she's a part of him and that can't be denied for long. I'm looking forward to seeing them slowly get back together, seeing her woo him for a change. I love these two, and things will not be easy but they'll get there and I'll love every step of the way.

NL - This separation from the brothers is a rough patch in their already turbulent relationship. Lucas lied to him and Nathan feels the brother he finally let in committed the ultimate betrayal. This was not so as all Lucas was trying was to do was rid themselves of the evil that is Dan, but at the time Nathan thought getting his family back together was in Deb's best interest. Add to that how Nathan was already feeling due to Haley's absence and Nathan is not in a very forgiving mood right now. This too shall pass, and maybe it'll take time too, but they are brothers and nothing unites them more than when they have a common goal, basketball, and even more so, the constant battle against their father. I liked the juxtaposition of having another one on one but this time Nathan won and it wasn't in a dream and something big was at stake again, their friendship. Though WHY Lucas with an aggravated heart problem chose to play Nathan fresh from an elite basketball camp with the best players in the country left me puzzled. He didn't have a shot at all. Dude, wise up and don't play your brother, the best player in the state for something as huge as your friendship. *sigh* Lucas, Lucas, you always mean well, but please, grow a brain sometime soon, you'll need it to figure out how to get back in Nathan's good graces.

PH - I really liked how Peyton and Haley are being portrayed, it's REAL. Just like Nathan with Luke- Haley and Peyton were getting to be really close friends and they confided in each other. When Haley left for the tour she not only left Nathan, she left her friends and her work too. Haley left at a time when Peyton needed a friend the most, all the drama with her birth mother, the creepy emails, and Jake leaving. Peyton is acting like the teenager that she still is, lashing out at her father for having kept her in the dark about her origins, and for the lies of omission you can't blame her, nobody likes being lied to. But I'm with Larry on this one, he only had Peyton's best interests at heart and Ellie was not what Peyton needed so shortly after having Anna died, she was the only mother Peyton ever knew. After she deals with her emotions she'll see that a parent is who raises you and loves you and is there for you when you need them. Sure, Larry looses points in attendance, but he's tried his best to provide the best for her while grieving on his own. Ellie gave birth to her, but it took her 10 years to get her act together enough to seek her daughter out. Now Peyton is older and it's up to her if she wants contact with her birth mother, but Mrs. Sawyer should never be forgotten, she was her real mom in all the ways that matter. Because of all her personal issues and the fact that Haley was not there for her, you can't really blame Peyton for how cold she is being to Haley. Friends fight and after they talk things out they can overcome it. This heart to heart hasn't happened yet, so I don't expect them to be super buddies right now. Peyton's angry with Haley because she cares, if she didn't she'd be indifferent to it all. I'll look forward to a heartfelt talk and them being friends again, and I have faith this will happen.

BL - I'm so super confused on this one. I could swear that 3.01 gave us hints that something happened during the summer between Luke and Peyton, but he's still going on about being "THE" guy for Brooke. Anyways, Brooke and Nathan are in the same boat, once burned twice shy, and it'll take some time for Lucas and Haley to get their trust back and be a couple with their respective loved ones. Brooke playing the field is not a bad idea, she needs to be sure that Luke is who she wants and that if she chooses to give her heart to him again, fully, that he'll treasure it this time. I love that "Responsible Brooke" is SO last season, because I missed quirky, cheery S1 Brooke and I welcome her back with open arms. This is her purpose in Tree Hill, to be the outrageous breath of much needed fresh air, not Saint Brooke of Oh woe is me. Welcome back Brooke, let the witty comebacks begin!

LH - Ahhh the friendship is back and in full spades. I absolutely LOVED that Lucas stood up to Nathan and flatly told him he wasn't gonna let him mistreat Haley. She's like a sister to him and last season they veered off too far away from that and I'm glad their friendship is back full force, them confiding in each other and defending each other. It's one part of S1 that I loved and was sorely missing last season. Her working back at the café and thinking of old times was great, and also being concerned for him with his part time relationship with Brooke. They really are like siblings and they care what happens to the other and will be there for each other. Let's never loose sight of what great friends they are.

Dan - How do I love thee, let me count the ways... Cause you are so evil it's great to see you plotting your evil machinations against the ones that wronged you. Cause you might be badly burned on your back, but your evil handsome face was spared. After all, we need to see where Nathan got his good looks from, only let's leave the looks as the only thing he got from you, cause you are one mean SOB and I love you for it, but I don't want Nathan to become a Mini Dan. I can't wait to see how and on whom he plots his revenge. At times I see the good in him and this contrast with his usual evil self is perplexing and intriguing at the same time. Never go away Dan, you make the world of Tree Hill go round, You're an assy, frat boy haircut, basketball loving, evil SOB and you're perfect at it. Wait till the end of the series to change.

Karen and Deb - Karen cracked me up with her hip hop lingo but Lucas is right, never utter those words again. Like Nathan always tells Tim, "You are white". LOL. It's too bad about her and Andy, but she's already done the raising a kid thing, and you can't blame her if she doesn't want more kids, Andy deserves to have kids if he wants, so maybe they were not meant to be and it's better to be happy - apart. Deb is just idly floating around working and divorcing Dan, but c'mon, lend your son a helping hand. You know what it's like to make a huge mistake and want forgiveness and NH are meant to be. You wanted your son back, you got him, now talk with him and help him see "To err is human, to forgive DIVINE".

I liked the adults, Larry included, but where's my Whitey? I hope this won't be like last season that we had to play the Where in the world is Whitey Durham?" game. And Keith, where are ya? I got my theories about the fire and you feature prominently in them. Now if only we could get those crazy James parents back; Jimmy and Lydia rock and would SO play cupids for NH. Let's send out an S.O.S. for them to come back ASAP.
