Sunday, April 02, 2006 Talk about lack of updates??? We have had a couple of really fucking great episodes and I didn't even post a single thing at this blog. Season 3 has bee the best yet! Nathan and Haley have been friggin' awesome. I can't wait until May to find out if they get a season 4. I am dying to know!!! In the meantime, I will just say that everyone else in the free world has been keeping up on OTH so I am going to post Jackie's review of the last episode. (I'm totally stealing it from her LJ... but she loves me so its ok.) Her Review: EEEEK brand new OTH last night and I LOVED it. Sure there were some things worthy of a few eye rolls but NH/JLs were so amazing that I have absolutely no qualms about it and cannot complain at all. Mark still writes the best emotional episodes. The episode was just so sad and depressing...yet there was light at the end of the tunnel. Ok so lets see first I FLOVED the black screen with the "stages of grief" so true and so good.Lucas: Its not often that I feel sorry for him LOL but my heart was literally breaking for him last night. I felt so awful for him and when Karen said what she did...wow I wanted to give him a hug (and I never want to do that normally). And I was so proud of him at the end for doing what Keith would have wanted. Karen: I was shoked yes because it was such an anti-Karen thing to say but I totally get that she was in her own grief and upset at the idea that she could have lost Lucas too and she was just lashing out. She's obviously having a lot of trouble with this which is understandable.Moira and Chad did an awesome job. Yes Chad too, I give credit where its due. But then again I thought the whole cast did an awesome job! The RC boys including Junk! Loved seeing them and loved the Skillz/Lucas scene....totally realistic that his friends would be there for him. Dan: He's being haunted. Good. Let the guilt eat him alive. When he finds out it was Deb who tried to kill him....ha, its gonna be so good to see the look on his face. Enjoyed how the episode started, "whyd you kill him?...he was weak" no Dan....*you* are the weak one. Mouth: Totally in character for him to stand up for Jimmy. and I liked his scene with Rachel because it seemed honest on both parts. I like that Rachel has layers, and she's only used here and there, so she doesnt bother me too much as a secondary character. Brooke: I liked that she tried to be there for Lucas and BH are totally awesome and I even enjoyed the BL "rescuing" scene.....but then she goes to Peyton and gets all insecure again. You know its not that she doesnt have a reason to be but get a grip woman! Everytime Lucas is near Peyton she starts saying Lucas likes Peyton...Lucas will tire of that eventually. But then again I see trouble brewing. Brooke doesnt know about the kiss and she will view that as betrayal most likely. Should be an interesting situation with the living thing. Peyton: First Lucas makes fun of Brooke's letters and now of Peyton's dying confession....you know he's kind of a jerk LOL but he was just kidding around. I enjoyed the LP scene...they tried to play it off as just some friendly talk and I believe Lucas loves Brooke but I think Peyton may have some lingering feelings for Lucas....she kept saying "lucas loves YOU" like she was trying to convince herself that he didnt love her. I dont know I just see trouble coming. And I know everyone hates the triangles but come on every show has one even DC it was DJP....but as a viewer who doesnt mind BL OR LP I enjoy the ride =D Whitey: He's just the man. I knew he'd have something great to say and he did. Barry rocked it totally. He always does though.Loved how at the beginning there was now metal detectors and all that...very realistic...and Lucas "letting it out" as the principal was saying also very in character for him Things I'll choose to ignore:Party in the school? Sure....Brooke and Rachel couldnt clean up their own mess they had to leave it to Whitey? come onBrooke turned the cloth into a bedspread in a couple of hours? I dont know if I can believe thatPeyton made out with Pete? Anyone who knows me knows I never diss this show...but that was pretty lame hahahaha at least he's showing up in another episode so its not like this one-time random moment but its still totally weird and out of the blue that Pete knew where she lived and all that and just...yeah...whatever LOL! So overall a very sad and heartbreaking episode, with fantastic music!But ok NH/JLs totally stole the show AGAIN. I wont even talk about the neck kissage. Being able to hear the smacking of the lips on the skin...mmmm..yeah The slow dance...haha they were barely moving...but the height difference is too too too adorable for words....and I totally got Haley she was almost feeling guilty for being happy with her husband when the world around them was so sad but its like Nathan told her...its never too soon. We have one life to make ourselves happy on earth and you dont know whats going to happen tomorrow. Are they sad about Keith/Jimmy? Sure. But why waste time dwelling on it? They cant do anything about it now besides living their life to the fullest and I say more power to them. The Nathan/Haley/Lucas scene. Thumbs up for the younger Scott generation. They wont make the mistakes their parents did. Lucas and Nathan are better than Dan. Nathan isnt wasting time with Haley the way Keith sort of did with Karen. Dan couldnt or wouldnt change for Karen, but NH are getting it right. And just yeah I loved that they were both there for him. And I liked that they came full circle with the predictions. I wonder if we'll get to hear what Nathan's was?He made it rain for her! Heeee. They are awesome beyond words. I already knew about the football scene but yeah. Poor James watch him be all nasal next episode LOL the boy gets sick easily but aww I loved them being all tangled up in each other and Nathan telling her plain and simple she made him happy. I loved Haley saying "how is it possible to be this in love?" its so true. They are so beyond gone for each other that they just make you want to go find your other half as well (not that I didnt already but they make you believe it *is* possible). And they deserve this kind of happiness after everything they've been through. Its like Nathan said, it wont be easy and itll be confusing but all that matters is their love. Nothing else matters.And um yeah Joy sprawled on top of James is uber hot. James' legs were wide open LMAO and Joy kept one leg in the air, I dont know if it was intentional, but it reminded me of like the old times when ladies lifted one foot off the floor when they were kissed? Sort of like that."I want to be your husband again" :sigh: That bedroom scene was by far my favorite. So many little JLs touches, they are just LOVE. I loved how they said "mmm" at practically every kiss and how James kisses her twice after he says the husband thing....heee he totally went in for seconds. Haley's so right about the charming thing, cocky Nathan always rocks, and the little accent flare Joy did with "Lord help me.." oh I could just go on and on about that scene so let me shutup. I'll probably make one post just about that scene later. But yeah can we talk about the fact that nobody was kidding about James being in the gym all the time cuz um yeah SIX-PAC and its like clearly defined....there's one rigid line between his pecks and yeah just...WOW....he's all muscle. Lord have mercy. So yeah I think that covers it. All around great episode and I'll ignore the little "that would never happen" thingys because they are so minor in comparison to how great the episode was. And how great NH/JLs were. Mark totally wrote another winner. He never dissapoints me.WB--> back to the crack I see...couldnt put in the "marry me again" in the promo but put the clip in making all the 13year olds think BL are getting married :rolleyes: Its not like they havent shown the NH proposal before so I dont understand why it was left out. I noticed they put in the NH kiss from 309.....;) hehehehhe Its safe to say Im ready for it to be next Wednesday like now. Totally excited.
